We are seeking a seasoned Frontend Lead Developer to lead our UI engineering team in building scalable, performant, and visually stunning web applications.
You will own the frontend architecture, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with UX / UI designers, backend teams, and product managers.
Key responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of responsive, accessible, and high-performance frontend applications using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Define and enforce frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide a team of 48 frontend developers; conduct code reviews and pair-programming sessions.
- Collaborate with UX / UI designers to translate designs (Figma / Sketch) into pixel-perfect, interactive components.
- Optimize application performance (LCP, CLS, TTI) using tools like Lighthouse, Web Vitals, and bundler analysis.
- Implement state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or Recoil).
- Drive adoption of modern tooling : Vite / Webpack, ESLint, Prettier, Storybook, etc.
- Integrate REST / GraphQL APIs and handle authentication flows (OAuth, JWT).
- Lead technical planning, sprint grooming, and estimation for frontend initiatives.
Required Skills :
5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js (Hooks, Functional Components, Suspense, Concurrent Mode).Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, CSS-in-JS).Strong experience with state management libraries and patterns.Experience with testing frameworks : Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.Deep understanding of web performance, accessibility (a11y), and SEO best practices.Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and frontend deployment strategies.Nice to have :
Experience with Next.js (SSR / SSG), Remix, or Gatsby.Tailwind CSSTypeScript (strongly preferred)Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)Contributions to open-source frontend projects.Experience leading Agile / Scrum teams.Soft skills :
