Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Consultant – Drug Product Engineering to lead equipment maintenance, compliance, and engineering operations at our client’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Malaysia. The role focuses on ensuring high equipment availability, GMP compliance, and smooth facility operations. Responsibilities : Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum plant uptime. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with vendors for repairs and service. Support equipment qualification (FAT / SAT / IQ / OQ / PQ) and facility upgrade projects. Maintain documentation, SOPs, logbooks and ensure GMP / EHS compliance. Participate in internal / external audits and ensure timely closure of findings. Track maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage spare parts, material planning and facility upkeep. Lead shift planning, team training, vendor evaluation and safety practices. Use SAP for maintenance notifications and work-order management. Provide technical guidance to operators and junior engineers Contribute to energy efficiency and cost-saving projects across the facility. Skills Required Degree / Diploma in Engineering preferred Strong knowledge of preventive & breakdown maintenance for pharma / biopharma equipment Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance Ability to manage spare parts, vendors, audits, and compliance requirements Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, condition monitoring, and process / facility upkeep SAP (PM module) and documentation skills for work orders, logs, and maintenance records
