Odoo Python Developer

Position : Odoo Python Developer Experience : 1.0 2.5 Years Location : Delhi-NCR / Remote Employment Type : Full-time

Role Overview

We are looking for a junior Odoo Python Developer who will assist in developing, customizing, and supporting Odoo ERP modules. The ideal candidate should have strong Python fundamentals and a basic understanding of Odoo framework and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize basic Odoo modules under guidance.
• Write server-side logic using Python and Odoo ORM.
• Customize Odoo views, menus, forms, and reports (QWeb).
• Assist in integrating Odoo with third-party systems using REST / XML-RPC.
• Participate in analysis of functional requirements and convert into technical tasks.
• Support in bug-fixing, module enhancements, and performance improvements.
• Work with the team on Odoo upgrades and data migration tasks.
• Maintain documentation for customizations and configurations. Required Skills
• Strong understanding of Python .
• Strong knowledge of Odoo framework , ORM, and module structure.
• Familiarity with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Ability to understand business workflows and logic.
• Exposure to Git / GitLab or other version control tools. Good to Have Skills
• Experience with Odoo community / enterprise versions (any version).
• Basic HTML / CSS / JavaScript and QWeb templating.
• Understanding of accounting, sales, inventory, or CRM workflows.
• Exposure to Docker or Odoo.sh deployment. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Prior internship or project experience in Odoo is a bonus. Soft Skills

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
