Role Overview :

We’re looking for a seasoned  Retail Store Salesperson  who excels at client engagement and proactive sales efforts. This role involves not only in-store customer interactions but also  push marketing activities, including cold calling and setting up bulk gifting appointments.  The ideal candidate will have experience in luxury retail or gifting and a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales & Client Engagement :
  • Drive in-store sales by presenting Ekaani’s premium range of products to clients.
  • Provide personalized service, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Build relationships with walk-in customers and convert inquiries into sales.
  • Push Marketing & Lead Generation :
  • Proactively perform cold calling from curated databases to identify potential clients.
  • Set up appointments with corporates, wedding planners, and other bulk gifting customers.
  • Follow up diligently to ensure conversions and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
  • Store Operations :
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing, with products displayed to reflect Ekaani’s luxury branding.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve store and individual sales goals.
  • Client Relationship Management :
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-value customers, creating a loyal client base.
  • Understand client needs, especially for bulk gifting solutions, and recommend appropriate products.
  • Market Awareness :
  • Stay informed about luxury and home décor trends to provide better product recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor activities and share insights to improve sales strategies.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • 5+ years of experience in retail sales, preferably in luxury gifting, home décor, or premium retail.
  • Strong background in push marketing, cold calling, or lead generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • A well-groomed, confident, and engaging personality.
  • Target-driven mindset with the ability to handle fast-paced sales environments.
