Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Personal Lines Insurance Team . This role is ideal for professionals who value collaboration, diversity of thought, continuous learning, and who bring a balance of technical excellence and a positive team spirit.

Working in an Agile environment, you’ll contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based solutions using a modern tech stack. A strong emphasis is placed on testing methodologies and automation best practices.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web-based solutions using Golang, React, PostgreSQL, Apigee
• Collaborate with team members to implement software based on design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and efficiency
• Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for coding, debugging, and problem-solving
• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry trends
• Contribute to architectural decisions, identifying technical risks and opportunities
• Build and test RESTful APIs; automate test cases using Cypress and related tools
• Leverage CI / CD pipelines using GitLab for continuous integration and delivery
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, contributing to team planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Promote and enhance internal documentation and development processes
• Support performance tuning, security testing, and system scalability efforts
