Position Summary
The position is responsible for supporting, extending and Human Capital Management, Absence, Payroll operations and business reporting. They will lead as a thought partner for customer groups, advise on business requirements, and implement and maintain functionality to support service delivery and alignment of teams where multiple services / systems come together for client users. This position will interact with other members of the HRS group, senior global HR leadership, HR community, accounting / finance stakeholders, and other senior business leadership across the Brookfield supported footprint. They will be responsible for leading the HRIS team members, ensuring operational items are managed and resources are supported located in Mumbai.
This position is based in Bangalore office and will be onsite.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with HR on priorities and day-to-day operational support
- Lead functional projects as a reporting subject matter expert demonstrating deep functional knowledge of the data set for each reporting project
- Provide support to SME throughout the project lifecycle, from implementation to ongoing enhancements and drive the Workday Release Management.
- Draft and document processes to streamline best practices and to provide training and support materials to peers
- Implement new and improve existing Release Management processes and tools using data and metrics from the ground
- Assess Workday new features and client requests for new features and bug fixes to enable delivery value
- Workday Configuration in the following areas : HCM, Benefits, Learning, CompensationOther configuration knowledge in the HCM space is an asset
- Develop reports and analytics to provide information and insights to answer business questions and requests.
- Stay abreast of new functionality and implement enhancements that support the delivery of HR services
- Provide Workday training to support users’ roles and strengthen the organization’s ability to use Workday effectively and efficiently
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience with HCM as well as other functional areas would be a nice to have (Absence and Time Off, Performance, and reporting in Workday or similar HR Management System (HRMS) solution1-2 year of project management experienceAbility to work well in structured and unstructured environments, under pressure, and with changing and competing priorities and timelinesPossession of excellent consultative, organization, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skillsPossession of excellent oral and written communication skillsIntermediate / Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge specifically including Excel (functions, pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, etc.)Prior experience on a shared services team preferred
