(Urgent Search) Supply Chain Manager

Bellatrix Aerospace is a pioneering space technology company based in Bengaluru, India. We specialize in developing advanced propulsion systems and satellite platforms, aiming to revolutionize access to space.

As a Supplier Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain meets the high standards required for aerospace applications. Your responsibilities will include :

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality and compliance standards.

Negotiate and formalize supplier agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), to protect company interests.

Assess supplier capabilities, certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100), and performance to ensure alignment with aerospace industry standards.

Ensure suppliers match regulatory requirements and provide materials that meet space-grade specifications.

Regularly review supplier performance metrics, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.

Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and procurement teams to align supplier capabilities with project needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or a related role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse supplier data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of space-grade materials and components.
• Experience with supplier audits and performance improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in the aerospace industry.
