Responsibilities :
Varonis Configuration :
Configure and maintain operation of the Varonis DataAdvantage systems in both on-premise and Azure IAAS environments. As needed, installation, configuration, troubleshooting of Varonis collectors and agents across various data sources (e.g., file servers, NetApp FAS devices). Data Security and Permissions Management :
Utilize Varonis DataAdvantage to support internal colleague file system access. Automate permissions management tasks, such as user provisioning, access reviews, and entitlement changes.
Monitoring and Reporting :
Generate reports on file system postures, compliance status, and user behavior. Provide insights and recommendations to improve reporting capability.
Collaboration and Support : Collaborate with IT teams, security personnel, and business stakeholders to ensure effective Varonis utilization. Provide technical support and guidance to users on Varonis functionality and data access policies. Stay abreast of Varonis updates, best practices, and industry trends.
Qualifications :
Proven Experience : 3+ years of hands-on experience with Varonis DataAdvantage, including installation, configuration, and administration.
Technical Proficiency :
Strong understanding of data security principles, access control models and NTFS file system permissions. Cloud Expertise : Experience with Azure IAAS solutions.
On-Premise Knowledge : Familiarity with on-premise infrastructure and data storage technologies. (NetApp, Windows File Servers)
Analytical Skills :
Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Bonus Points :
Varonis certifications (e.g., Varonis Certified Professional). Experience with other Varonis modules (e.g., DataPrivilege, Data Classification Engine). Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
