Job description5–8 years of software development experience with a strong focus on backend engineering. Proven experience with AWS cloud services, especially serverless architecture. Advanced proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript. Experience in developing REST APIs and microservices. Solid understanding and hands-on usage of Auth0 (identity and access management). Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue). Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, Docker / Kubernetes (nice to have). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Solutions Architect). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments. Work with a high-performing tech team on cutting-edge cloud-native solutions. Flexible hybrid work environment. About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer who brings deep backend development expertise, a strong command of AWS services, and the ability to architect and build scalable, serverless cloud applications.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Node.js and TypeScript, with hands-on experience across the AWS serverless stack and exposure to Auth0 for identity management. While the focus is backend-heavy, a flexible approach and willingness to contribute to frontend tasks will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using AWS cloud-native and serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Build and maintain robust, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Implement authentication and authorization flows using Auth0.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance of backend systems.
- Handle API / service integrations and contribute to frontend development when required (React / Angular / Vue).
- Apply DevOps best practices : CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
- Diagnose and resolve performance and scalability issues across the cloud infrastructure.
