Job Description
The SAP BRIM Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP BRIM components—such as Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)—to streamline subscription management, complex billing, and revenue processes. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, translating business needs into SAP solutions, providing integration leadership with other SAP and non-SAP systems, and delivering technical and functional expertise throughout project life cycles.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BRIM module / s (SOM, CI, CC, FI-CA), with expertise in at least one core component.
- Strong understanding of subscription / order management, revenue recognition, billing cycles, pricing, contract management, and accounts receivable / payable.
- Experience in end-to-end SAP BRIM implementations (at least one full life cycle preferred).
- Familiarity with integration to SAP S / 4HANA, CRM, and other third-party or cloud platforms.
- SAP BRIM certification or relevant SAP cloud / billing certifications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and business process mapping skills.
Essential SkillsTechnical Skills
Configuration and customization of SAP BRIM modules : SOM, CI, CC, FI-CA, master agreement, subscription order, product modeling, quotation, contract management.Deep functional and technical understanding of integration points between BRIM modules and with SAP / S4HANA, CRM, and external systems through ODATA, web services, and APIs.Proficiency in SAP ABAP, CRM ABAP, enhancement techniques, debugging, and working within Agile frameworks.Troubleshooting, issue resolution, post-go-live support, and user documentation development.Monitoring and optimizing billing, invoicing, and revenue cycles using SAP BRIM features.Functional Skills
Business requirements gathering, process analysis, and translating needs into functional / technical specifications.Delivery of user training, onboarding, and change management for BRIM systems.Leading or participating in solution workshops, demonstrating BRIM capabilities, and supporting presales efforts.Project and engagement management with a focus on delivery excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.Soft Skills
Strong communication skills for collaboration across business, technical, and global project teams.Analytical mindset, problem-solving, adaptability, and customer-centric approach.Capability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments and to influence, mentor, and lead teams as needed.Additional Skills (Preferred)
Experience with advanced SAP BRIM scenarios, such as telco / media industry billing, and cloud migrations.Agile project methodology experience and working knowledge of SAP Fiori / UI5 or similar.Exposure to partner and stakeholder management, presales / demand generation workshops, and thought leadership.MBA or relevant advanced degree is a bonus.Skills Required
