Role Overview :
The K1 Team Lead is responsible for driving the first stage of the UG admissions funnel, converting leads into admission test registrations and application completions (K1 metric). This role requires managing a team of advisors, optimizing lead engagement processes, getting learners to complete the test and ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates for the K2 Counsellors to convert into enrollments.
Lead Conversion (K1 Stage) :
Manage the conversion of leads into admission test registrations / application fee payments.Ensure all new leads are contacted promptly through calls, WhatsApp, email, and automated follow-up journeys.Track conversion metrics : Lead - Registration - Test-taker.Team Leadership :
Lead and mentor a team of advisors for volume-based calling for test registrationsSet daily / weekly performance targets for outreach, follow-ups, and test registrations.Coach team members on sales scripts, objection handling, and consultative engagement.Process & Funnel Management :
Implement a low-touch, high-scale sales approach using automation (email drip campaigns, follow-up sequences).Ensure accurate and timely updates in CRM for all leads.Monitor funnel leakage and continuously improve lead nurturing Work with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.Coordinate with K2 Team Lead to ensure seamless handover of qualified test-takers.Data & Reporting :
Analyze funnel performance and report on conversion rates, lead quality, and advisor productivity.Generate insights to improve efficiency and maximize ROI of lead generation 7+ years in inside sales, admissions, or edtech sales, with 3+ years in a team lead roleExperience managing high-volume B2C sales funnels, preferably in education / admissions.Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze conversion trends.(ref : iimjobs.com)
