️ About the Role

As an Associate with the Technology & Agreements (TA) team at Talwar Advocates , you’ll play a key role in handling IP and commercial law matters. The role involves drafting and reviewing commercial agreements (including NDAs, licensing, and technology contracts), supporting IP prosecution, and contributing to client engagement and business expansion initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

Draft and review commercial contracts, NDAs, and IP-related agreements

Support trademark, copyright, and patent prosecution processes

Conduct legal research on commercial and IP law issues

Interact with clients and contribute to legal advisory services

Assist in expanding the firm’s client base through legal outreach and relationship management

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Panjab University , specializing in IP Law, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Punjab Engineering College , where he was awarded the Distinguished Alumni honor. As the founder of Talwar Advocates, Jitin drives the firm’s vision of blending legal excellence with client-focused innovation.

Pritika Kohli – Pritika is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property law and commercial transactions. She holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law and an B.A. LLB (Hons) from Amity University , Noida. Known for her sharp legal insight and proactive approach, Pritika plays a key role at Talwar Advocates in managing legal deliverables and mentoring associates, reflecting her dynamic and collaborative personality.

Gursimran Singh – Gursimran is a dedicated associate with hands-on experience in IP law, commercial contracting, and technology law. He holds an LLM in IPR from Lovely Professional University and a Diploma in Technology Law & Fintech Regulations from LawSikho . With a strong foundation in law and a focus on client-centric solutions, Gursimran brings analytical rigor and legal agility to the team.

️ What You Bring

Must Haves :

2 years PQE in IP and / or commercial law practice

Experience with contract drafting, IP filings, and client communications

Strong legal research and analytical skills

Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively

Preferred :

Exposure to technology law and startups

Interest in legal strategy and business development

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
