Who are we looking for

We are looking for a driven individual to manage the Regulatory Reporting team responsible for assessing regulatory reporting requirements, identifying SSGM change as a result of those requirements, and working closely with the front office and middle office to understand booking models and business transactions such that regulatory reporting submissions to regulators globally continues to be complete, accurate and timely. You will report to the India Head of Global Markets and work closely with the Global Markets’ business teams, Business Risk Management, Compliance and Technology.

Your ability to take initiative, exercise independent thinking, juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet aggressive deadlines will be key in this fast-paced environment. Your strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and interest in working in a professional and team-oriented environment, will contribute to your success.

What you will be responsible for

As Vice President, Regulatory Reporting you will :

  • Address day-to-day operational issues and escalations
  • Liaise with project teams and IT in regards to any projects / initiatives impacting operations for operational readiness and preparation
  • Provide program oversight for key regulatory reporting initiatives, succinctly raising risks, and issues to senior management timely, and helping to properly mitigate and / or remediate
  • Liaise with external counterparties and industry forums to improve internal regulatory reporting program and provide subject matter expertise to internal parties
  • Interpret regulatory text and work with the business and technology teams to support regulatory reporting change initiatives on behalf of the firm
  • Oversee the development and design of optimal regulatory reporting processes, coordinating with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure regulatory reporting deliverables are implemented accurately, timely and incorporating best practices.
  • Drive root cause analysis, gap analysis, requirement gathering, solution design and produce business requirement documentation
  • Ensure changes that could impact regulatory reporting obligations follow the defined governance and control framework
  • Lead prioritization discussions with key stakeholders and delivery leads, drive system enhancement pipeline
  • Support the 'Risk Excellence' culture within the business
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required

  • Education / Experience

  • BS, BA, BBA or equivalent work experience
  • 16+ years in regulatory reporting, risk management, compliance, audit, control experience preferred
  • Regulatory reporting awareness and exposure to MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, or APAC regulators is preferred
  • Previous management experience, management experience in a global organization a plus
  • Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to a wide variety of initiatives as a dependable and flexible resource.
  • Maintain working knowledge of overall process operating / IT model and assist with deployment of operational changes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – PP, Teams, Word, Excel, Access
  • Work Location : Bengaluru \ Hyderabad \ Mumbai
