Title : Planning, Billing & Quality Engineers

Industry : EPC Building Construction

Experience : 3 – 7 Years

Location : Chennai & Visakhapatnam

Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

🔹 Position : Planning Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project (MSP).
  • Track project progress, milestones, and deviations; ensure timely delivery as per project timelines.
  • Coordinate with site teams to collect data on work progress and resource utilization.
  • Assist in project cost control , budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare S-curves, resource histograms, and dashboards for management review.
  • Support delay analysis and preparation of catch-up or recovery schedules.

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in Primavera (P6) / MSP.
  • Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and scheduling techniques .
  • Analytical mindset with good coordination and reporting abilities.
  • Effective communication and planning skills.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules and cost reports.
  • Support planning, budgeting, and performance tracking activities.

    • 🔹 Position : Billing Engineer (Site-Based Billing Role)

    Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify site-related RA (Running Account) and client bills as per BOQ and project scope.
  • Conduct quantity measurements from drawings and actual site work.
  • Prepare subcontractor bills and ensure timely submission and approval.
  • Track variations, extra works, and reconcile material quantities.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for progress certification.

    • Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, site billing, and measurement procedures .
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
  • Understanding of IS codes and construction contract terms.
  • Good analytical and documentation skills.

    • Key Result Areas

  • Ensure accurate and timely billing from site data.
  • Maintain detailed and transparent billing records and cost tracking reports.

    • 🔹 Position : Quality Engineer

    Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement QA / QC standards and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct inspection of materials, workmanship, and finished structures at site.
  • Perform and monitor concrete mix design , trial mixes, and quality tests.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection and test reports, checklists, and quality documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspection approvals.
  • Ensure adherence to company QMS and ISO procedures.

    • Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of mix design, material testing, and IS code compliance .
  • Knowledge of QA / QC procedures and quality documentation.
  • Attention to detail, effective coordination, and communication skills.

    • Key Result Areas

  • Maintain quality consistency in all construction stages.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely closure of non-conformance reports.
