Job description

Role : - PCB Design Engineer

Location : Delhi

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in designing multilayer PCBs for mixed signals, high power design.
  • Knows PCB design and production lifecycle with key DFM points.
  • Come up with stackup definitions and layer thicknesses based on design type.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers, mechanical engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility, DFM, FMEA etc
  • Maintain global BOM, PCB version control and component version control over ECAD workspace / local system
  • Perform pre-layout and post-layout simulation including thermal, signal integrity etc

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Design mixed signal, power electronics and high frequency multilayer PCB for automotive applications.
  • Collaborate with hardware and system engineers to work out PCB requirements.
  • Conduct simulation, testing, and validation of PCB designs, ensuring compliance with performance requirements, reliability standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct EMI / EMC testing and mitigation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Document design methodologies, technical specifications, and test procedures, ensuring clear and traceable engineering processes.
  • Optimize design for signal integrity and power integrity.
