Student Counselor

Job Title : Career Counselor Location : On-site – Lohegaon, Pune Experience : 2+ years Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology (Preffered not mandatory) Job Overview : We are looking for an experienced Career Counselor with a strong background in Psychology to guide and mentor students in making informed career choices. The ideal candidate should have expertise in assessing students’ skill sets, interests, and aspirations to recommend suitable courses and career paths. Key Responsibilities : Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their career aspirations, strengths, and interests. Assess students’ skills and personality traits using psychometric tests and counseling methodologies. Provide guidance on suitable courses and career paths based on their academic background and skills. Support students in setting career goals and creating personalized career roadmaps . Stay updated with the latest industry trends, career opportunities, and educational programs. Collaborate with academic institutions and training providers to recommend the best programs. Maintain detailed counseling records and track students’ progress. Organize career awareness sessions, workshops, and guidance programs for students. Requirements : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology (Mandatory). 2+ years of experience in career counseling, student mentoring, or academic guidance. Strong knowledge of career assessment tools and counseling techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students effectively. Ability to motivate and inspire students toward career growth. Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools used for career counseling. Prior experience in educational institutions, ed-tech firms, or career guidance centers is a plus. Work Location : This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lohegaon, Pune .
