Who are we and what do we do?

Part of the Embedded Processors group of TI, the Processors and Application Specific Microcontroller (ASM) Business Units develop cutting edge system-on-chips (SoCs) for broad microcontrollers and processors spanning even 5nm technologies for applications in industrial and automotive spaces. The team has been responsible for architecting and developing differentiated IPs with several patented technologies that deliver the best-in-class ADAS, Zonal, Domain controller, Real-Time Control application performance in the market. The team’s charter includes design of high-performance CPU cores, math co-processors, high performance interconnects, networking and multimedia controllers, safety and security infrastructure, application-tuned control and communication peripherals to enable competitive product creation for our businesses under Embedded Processors.

What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities)

Responsible for driving verification strategy, creating Test Plans and developing Test Benches for IPs
Own IP DV signoff using SV & UVM or Formal Verification
Develop UVM components like agents, drivers, monitors and scoreboards
Or Formal Property modeling, Assertions and Covers
Efficient test-case developments
Define and meet all functional coverage goals
Achieve 100% code coverage (Block, expression, FSM) in IP DV
Drive continuous improvements using the latest methodologies / technologies

What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications)

Bachelors / Masters in EE / EC / VLSI stream with 5-10yrs years of relevant experience in IPDV

Strong knowledge in System Verilog / UVM is needed.

Experience in Assertion Based Formal Property verification is preferred

Proficient in HDLs like Verilog / VHDL / SV

Strong scripting (with Perl / Tcl / Python) skill-sets will be an added advantage

Excellent debugging and problem-solving skill

Effective communication skills to interact with all stakeholders

Knowledge of standard protocols like AHB, AXI, APB, CAN, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART

Knowledge of ARM processors is a plus.

Preferred Skills / Experience

Experience in IP DV, SoC DV and post-silicon debug

Experience with Cadence tools (IES, IEV / Jasper Gold)
