Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced DFT Engineer with strong expertise in Mentor Graphics Tessent tools to join our team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive hands-on experience in DFT implementation, validation, and debug across the entire flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform RTL insertion, DRC checks, and debug using Tessent DFT tools
- Execute scan insertion, ATPG pattern generation, and validation
- Conduct gate-level simulation (GLS) debug and timing-enabled GLS verification
- Generate and validate MBIST patterns for memory testing
- Debug and resolve DFT-related issues independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical challenges and solutions
- Ensure quality and coverage of DFT implementation across complex SoC designs

Must-Have Skills
Extensive hands-on experience with Tessent DFT tools for RTL insertion, DRC checks, and debuggingProven expertise in scan insertion, ATPG, and GLS debugStrong experience in MBIST pattern generation and validationSolid understanding of timing-enabled GLS and related debug methodologiesAbility to work independently and manage tasks with minimal guidanceExcellent debugging skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skills to articulate technical issues to broader engineering teamsGood-to-Have Skills
Working knowledge of DFT IP architectures including :On-Chip Clocking (OCC)Embedded Deterministic Test (EDT)Streaming Scan Network (SSN)MBIST controllersIJTAG and IEEE 1500 standardBoundary scan (IEEE 1149.1)Proficiency in TCL scripting for automation and tool customizationRequired Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, VLSI Design, or related field
