You Are :

We are seeking innovative and out-of-the-box thinking Design For Test (DFT) Engineers to be a part of the DFT Consulting Team under the HAT Group at Synopsys. You thrive in a project-oriented environment, delivering comprehensive DFT solutions ranging from integration to silicon bring-up for customers designing digital ICs of varying complexity. You are adept at implementing robust and efficient test methodologies in ASIC / SoC designs. You possess a deep understanding of DFT principles and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality test solutions. You are a problem solver, a collaborator, and someone who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology.

What Youll Be Doing :

• Providing expertise for test solutions during design planning, budgeting, and implementation.
• Implementing and validating MBIST, including BIST architecture planning, memory grouping, pattern generation, validation, silicon bring-up, diagnostics analysis, and debug.
• Collaborating with RTL designers and verification teams to define DFT architecture and test strategy for complex SoCs and ASICs.
• Performing scan insertion, test point insertion, ATPG pattern generation, and fault coverage analysis.
• Implementing and validating memory BIST, logic BIST, boundary scan, and other DFT features as needed.
• Supporting tape-out readiness by delivering high-quality test logic and test patterns.
• Working directly with clients to provide technical guidance, debug DFT issues, and optimize test quality.
• Writing and maintaining documentation, test plans, and DFT insertion guidelines.
• Staying current with evolving DFT methodologies and tool capabilities; suggesting and implementing improvements.

You will be part of the Fast Solution Team, working closely with Solution Architects and other engineers to develop and productize next-gen test technologies.
