Whizz HR is hiring Interior Designers to work with an award winning design firm in Bangalore!.

Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer to plan, design, and execute interior spaces that meet aesthetic, functional, and budget requirements. The ideal candidate has strong design sensibility, project management skills, and the ability to translate client needs into practical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Concept & Design Development

  • Meet with clients to understand project goals, requirements, and style preferences.
  • Develop design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes.
  • Produce detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D renders.

2. Space Planning

  • Create functional space plans considering ergonomics, compliance, and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare furniture layouts, lighting plans, and elevations.

    • 3. Material & Product Selection

  • Select finishes, fabrics, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials, pricing, and product specifications.

    • 4. Project Coordination

  • Work with architects, contractors, MEP teams, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed correctly.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve design issues.

    • 5. Documentation

  • Prepare BOQs, working drawings, and technical documents.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation for approvals and execution.

    • 6. Budgeting & Timelines

  • Estimate costs and align design decisions with client budgets.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.

    • 7. Client Interaction

  • Present design concepts and revisions.
  • Handle client feedback and provide design solutions.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture.
  • 0–5 years of experience (can modify based on level).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong understanding of materials, industry trends, and design styles.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and attention to detail.
