About the Role
This ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing a progressive approach to health, safety and environmental issues in line with the Global HSE Standards, corporate objectives and regional strategies while ensuring local governmental regulatory compliance. Strives for HSE Excellence to create a world-class HSE culture. Implement goals and strategies in support of overall business and operational plans in one of the business segments.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, Conduct regular HSE audit in region and verify plan of action received from site and evidence verification.
Ensure that safety standards are maintained and continually seek ways to improve safety standards.
Report all the incidents in Salus. Investigate all reported incidents and review corrective actions and ensure implementation of CAPAs.Staff Training regarding basic safety practices during site visits.
Communicate the safety communications like safety alerts, quick shares with all sites and verify effective communication to staff during site visit.
Implement APAC subcontractor management process. To Ensure Prequalification and Authorization of New Subcontractors through Sodexo.
Client meeting during HSE audit and highlight major infra issue and HSE risk in presence of Operation team
Verify for new sites and Scoping of new sites and give the HSE gaps report to Operation team and BD Team.
Mobilization support to all new mobilize site (Due Diligence, HSE Management Plan and Induction etc)
Ensure all employees and sub-contractors are suitably trained / competent to carry out the prescribed task and that the necessary licenses / certificates of competence are in force and appropriate.
Ensure the Statutory Notices, the Safety Policy, Insurance Certificate and the names of Appointed First Aiders are displayed and maintained in prominent locations.
Support Deployment & implementation of Company HSE campaign for safety improvement.
Deliver appropriate trainings to operational teams, site managers and other site employees
Review HSE performance and Incident with Operations Manager and Region Heads. Maintain all safety records & certificates as required under the HSE standards.
Communicate and deploy HSE project action at Sites.
Crisis Management in region for related crisis like Health and Safety, epidemic etc.
Conduct Staff Accommodation and Base Office audit as per plan.
Conduct vendor audits as per supplier qualification process. E.g. Transport etc.
Key Requirements
BE / B. Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Environmental) / Bachelor's / Masters.
Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety
Certified Lead auditor ISO45001
Diploma in fire safety
Minimum 5 years' experience in Health and Safety Systems Management & Process Improvement concepts.
Experience working with industrial occupational work safety.
