Key Responsibilities
- Financial reporting and analysis to various stakeholders to support decision making
- Strategic partner to business and other leaders in the group with insightful business and finance inputs relating to key business decisions
- Lead special finance projects, manage the centralized financed system with an ambition to further automate processes
- Ensure timely closure of activities related to revenue recognition with utmost accuracy
- Monthly books closure activities including reporting of Revenue, Receivables, Capex and other MIS
- Review of receivables management, ensuring timely collection, dispute resolution by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Developing relationships with banks, payment gateways for latest functionalities at completive cost
- Co-ordinate, review and provide support through appropriate inputs to the reporting teams for the monthly / quarterly and yearly MIS reporting
- Co-ordination with statutory and tax Auditors
- Tracking actual cost v / s Budget for support functions
- Liaise with third party accounting, tax service providers and other consultants on local regulatory / accounting / audit compliances
- Work with onshore and offshore finance team reporting within Biocon Biologics group, to monitor all transactions and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day accounting operations
- Creating process around fixed assets tracking and tagging, accounting for the same including depreciation and write-offs
- Develop and maintain sound internal control system in finance reporting processes
- Consolidating Support function budget and tracking against actuals.
Education, Experience and Skill
Experience – 6+ years of experience.Qualification – Chartered Accountant preferably with Pharma Industries experienceShould be able to manage a team of 5+Hands on experience with SAP will be an added advantageAbility to understand and effectively apply technical accounting guidance for Revenue and Capex accountingExcellent analytical skillsStakeholder managementProficient in MS Excel and PowerPointExcellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral) and Networking skillsFlexibility & open mind to look at dynamic and ever-changing business environment and needsTime management & ability to prioritize work / MultitaskingStrong command over accountingResult oriented
