Description : About the Role :
Need for an Analyst with strong analytical skills to support the Engineering License Optimization program within the HPC domain.
This role requires interpreting data from existing tools and reports, identifying trends and inefficiencies, and translating findings into actionable business insights.
The focus is on analyzing outcomes, identifying optimization opportunities, and bridging the gap between data insights and business decisions not on dashboard development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and interpret data from tools such as Altair SAO, Power BI, and other license management systems.
- Conduct trend analysis, utilization studies, and gap assessments across engineering software licenses.
- Identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and procurement stakeholders to validate findings and define next steps.
- Prepare concise reports and presentations summarizing key metrics, insights, and recommendations.
- Support ongoing initiatives by tracking performance against KPIs and success criteria.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure analytical outputs align with business needs and reflect accurate usage patterns.
Required Skills :
58 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Data-Driven Analyst in engineering, IT, or manufacturing domains.Strong skills in data interpretation, statistical analysis, and reporting (Excel, Power BI, or similar).Understanding of engineering software license models (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperMesh, etc.) is highly desirable.Ability to perform trend and variance analysis and translate data into meaningful insights.Strong communication and storytelling ability to explain analytical outcomes to non-technical stakeholders.Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in global environments.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field.Experience with Altair SAO, Flexera, or license management tools.Familiarity with HPC environments and simulation workloads.Exposure to cost optimization or utilization improvement initiatives.(ref : hirist.tech)
