Hotfoot - Java Lead - Server Side Component

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop core server-side components for consumer-facing sites as well as back-end logistics.
• Define and implement data flow / interactions across various business components.
• Prototype new ideas.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring delivery of features / tasks at the highest quality within committed Skills :
• Strong hands-on experience with Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, RDBMS, and Data Modeling.
• Strong hands-on experience with Web services, SOAP, and REST.
• Experience with caching systems such as Aerospike and Redis.
• Experience with database query tuning.
• Ability to adapt to experimenting with new technologies.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Jackrabbit.
• Desirable knowledge of Kafka or message queue systems.
• Plus : E-commerce search experience and hands-on experience in REST API specification
