Environmental Design Intern

Job Description Summary

This position will be responsible for implementing various initiatives to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment. This role will involve working closely with cross functional teams such as supply chain, procurement, engineering, facilities management, etc. The intern will also be involved in projects related to waste reduction, energy conservation, water conservation, sustainability reporting, etc. This position will provide exposure to different aspects of environmental management systems and sustainability reporting

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Baselining and reporting greenhouse gas emissions for product, including carbon footprint.
• Developing and maintaining environmental management system documentation.
• Supporting sustainability reporting activities.
• Identifying opportunities for waste reduction and resource conservation.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to implement sustainable practices.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures.
