Role : Tableau Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our team in Kochi, Kerala.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau software.

This role requires strong proficiency in translating complex data into crucial business insights, maintaining high data integrity, and establishing best practices for visual analytics within the organization.

Primary Responsibility & Core Functions :

Tableau Dashboard Development : Demonstrate Hands-on working knowledge of Tableau by proficiently designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and visually effective Tableau-based dashboards and reports.

Data Interpretation and Insight Generation : Possess the Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights using Tableau features (e.g., calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions) to support critical business decision-making.

Data Analysis and Querying : Conduct data analysis using advanced techniques to draw business-relevant conclusions.

Leverage : Proficiency in SQL to write and analyze complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and validation to support all reporting requirements.

Standards and Best Practices : Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards in Tableau development and deployment across the organization.

Data Integrity and Architecture : Possess Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing principles to ensure data sources are efficient and reliable.

Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., data masking, access control) in all visualization layers.

Collaboration and Communication : Utilize Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Work effectively with different business teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data through visualization.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar data visualization role.

Core Tool : Expertise and Hands-on working knowledge of Tableau software.

Data Proficiency : Proficiency in SQL for writing and analyzing complex queries, and Familiarity with SQL and database management.

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

Visualization : Experience with data visualization tools, with Tableau being mandatory.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of other BI / data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView).

Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data manipulation or analysis.
