Senior Software Engineer - Javascript / TypeScript

We are seeking a highly engaged and motivated JavaScript Engineer who is passionate about continuously improving their skills and learning new technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong JavaScript / TypeScript background and possess exceptional communication skills.

In this role, you will function as a technical expert and lead engineer within the GraphQL team.

You will perform research, analysis, design, and development on an emerging GraphQL API platform.

You will be responsible for interacting with consuming digital teams (web, mobile, etc.) as well as domain API teams.

This role acts as a bridge between the two and requires strong communication skills.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following :

Technical Leadership :

• Trains and / or mentors other team members and peers as appropriate.
• Ability to work liaising with multiple teams to steer projects from inception to successful delivery.
• Provides financial input on department or project budgets, capital expenditures, or other cost / resource estimates as requested.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance the service delivery processes.
