1.Responsible for providing day to day support within Trading, Operations, and Regulatory Data Management as it relates to reporting and business analytics. Communicate implementation & technology related information to the business, while providing guidance to determine system requirements and engage the appropriate business and technology partners driving the best solution. May provide specialized services to business unit on gap support or systems outside of technologies scope or span of control. We have access databases that we are trying to migrate to the cloud for example.

Job description :

Conducting reporting with data assurance to meet regulatory requirements on our data would be a key component of the job.

The other component would be leveraging our data across systems like on prem and data lake, gaining familiarity with it and leveraging and populating the data lake to enable reporting through AWS tools as needed.

Final component would be working closely with business to learn about their business and requirements, translate that knowledge into technical requirements and executing the same in time and accurately through effective communication and project management.

Key responsibilities :

Strong business partner relationship management through effective communication on project updates and raising risk to deliverables in a timely manner.

Understand business and their requirements and convert the same into technical requirements.

Understand our data across systems and on data lake and leverage it effectively to deliver reporting and intelligence to business.

Build reporting and analysis using tools like AWS sagemaker and python programming with little direction.

Build visualizations where required to present the reports or findings using power bi which our other bi tools on AWS.

Convey results of reporting or analysis to the business through an executive summary.

Required qualifications :

Strong knowledge and working experience of Python programming. Min 3 years of experience.

Beginner to intermediate level knowledge of building power bi visualizations.

Basic knowledge of AWS tools and environment is desirable. Minimum 7 years of experience in a reporting and analysis role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and capable of writing key insights for the business in a concise manner.
