Job description

We have an opportunity for a  Nurse Practitioner  to join our Bethanie Health Practice team, working with a team of aligned GPs and Nurse Practitioners who are interested in pursuing innovative practice approaches and high-quality patient centred care.

  • Based at our Bethanie Beachside aged care home in Yanchep
  • Permanent part-time position
  • Working 2 days per week – no weekends or night shifts; Wednesday & Friday is preferred but we can discuss if you have other preferences. We could also accept 1 day per week.
  • We have flexibility to support your working preference

There may also be an option to pick up casual leave coverage if you are seeking additional hours so we encourage you to express your interest to discuss next steps.

About the role :

You will provide advanced clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, including prescription and referrals, working in collaboration with our General Practitioners and clinical staff. You would join a supportive team who meet every 6 weeks, so new team members have many layers of support.

About you

You're passionate about working collaboratively with other health professionals to improve outcomes for your clients and bring excellent clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills. In addition to a current, unrestricted AHPRA registration and endorsement to practice as a Nurse Practitioner from the Nursing & Midwifery Board, you will also require :

  • Qualified Bachelor of Science (Registered Nursing) & current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
  • Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) AHPRA Endorsement
  • Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility to apply through Medicare)
  • Current Prescriber Number
  • Relevant computer skills including the ability to use clinical software systems
  • Experience in an Aged Care environment is desirable but not essential
