Role Overview :

The Area Sales Manager - B2B will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding market presence, and achieving sales objectives through effective channel management and strategic business development. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership, and deep industry knowledge to establish Lafit as a dominant brand in the region.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive area sales strategy with clear targets and performance metrics.
  • Expand Lafit's B2B presence through new dealer acquisitions, project business, and strategic retail outlets.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with architects, consultants, developers, and channel partners.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing regional sales team to achieve consistent results.
  • Monitor sales performance, forecast demand, and ensure timely collections and channel performance.
  • Implement incentive programs, performance evaluation systems, and continuous training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Production, and Quality teams to align business strategies and ensure superior customer experience.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to guide product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Education : MBA in Sales & Marketing (Engineering background preferred).
  • Experience : Minimum 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in the lighting, electrical, or allied industries.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in market expansion and channel development.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales reporting, and MS Office Suite.
