Your future duties and responsibilities :

Position : Automation Engineer

Experience : 6-8 years

Location : Chennai(Preferred)

Shift : UK Shift

Must-to-Have Skills

Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation scripting.

Experience in automation frameworks (PyTest, Unittest, Robot Framework, or Behave / BDD).

Hands-on in Selenium / Playwright / Appium (UI, API, or mobile automation).

Solid understanding of REST / SOAP API automation (requests library, Postman integration).

CI / CD pipeline integration experience (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Strong knowledge of SQL for validation of backend data.

Experience in test scenario design, execution, defect logging, and tracking.

Knowledge of Agile methodology and working with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Rally.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for test execution and automation.

Hands-on with Big Data / ETL testing automation (PySpark, Hive, Snowflake validations).

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust, Gatling).

Working knowledge of API mocking tools (WireMock, Mountebank).

Test reporting & dashboards using Allure, Extent Reports, or custom Python dashboards.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).

Banking Domain expertise as per project.
