R&D Executive (Food Science)

Role : R&D Executive (Food Science)

Experience : 2–3 years in food product development (snacks preferred)

Location : Khed Shivapur, Pune

Role & Responsibilities

NPD & formulation : Develop / optimize healthy snack recipes aligned to nutrition targets and consumer taste.

Scale-up : Translate lab formulas to pilot & mass production; ensure consistency, yield, and cost targets.

Process & SOPs : Standardize methods, set process controls, and maintain documentation.

Trials & sourcing : Run ingredient trials; partner with procurement for cost-effective, high-quality inputs.

Compliance : Ensure FSSAI (and export / federal) compliance; finalize labels and specs.

Shelf-life : Design & execute stability / packaging tests; define storage and QC checkpoints.

Production partnership : Work with manufacturing to troubleshoot runs and optimize throughput.

Insights : Track trends / benchmarks; iterate for cost, taste, texture, and nutrition improvements.

Qualification

QB.Tech / M.Tech in Food Science / Food Tech or related.

2–3 years hands-on R&D in snacks / ready-to-eat; sensory, shelf-life, and food safety know-how.

Strong formulation + process understanding; extrusion / baking exposure is a plus.

Analytical, documentation-strong; comfortable collaborating with QA, Production, Procurement, Sales.
