Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior SAP Integration Architect with 8–12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and HCM module integration , including modern cloud-based and hybrid integration landscapes. This role requires deep functional knowledge of SAP HCM submodules (Payroll, PA, OM) and robust hands-on expertise in system integration, SAP Portals , and cloud platforms . Candidates must bring strategic insight into integration architecture and be comfortable working across on-premise and cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop scalable custom ABAP solutions tailored for SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, PY).
• Lead and govern integration design patterns between SAP HCM and external systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) , SAP JCo , SOA Manager , and OData services via SAP Gateway.
• Define and manage web services, RFCs, IDocs, BAPIs , and remote function calls for seamless third-party connectivity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional leads, and BASIS teams for end-to-end interface delivery and technical feasibility assessments.
• Support hybrid integration landscapes across on-premise SAP systems and cloud platforms, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and performance.
• Incorporate API-first and event-driven architecture principles using SAP Event Mesh and SAP API Business Hub .
• Document technical designs, perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Ensure integration aligns with security and governance best practices , including OAuth2, SAML , and transport-level encryption.
• Guide junior developers and contribute to defining DevOps practices using tools like gCTS , CI / CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies.
