A leading retail brand is on a transformation journey to reimagine its store environments. This high-impact leadership role will drive end-to-end store design , visual merchandising , and customer journey enhancement across formats—creating inspiring, immersive, and commercially effective retail spaces. Key Responsibilities
Store Design & Formats : Define design guidelines, develop new formats, and lead execution in metros & Tier 2 cities.
Customer Journey : Optimize layouts, flow, and engagement touchpoints using data and digital integration (AR / VR, QR, endless aisle).
Visual Merchandising : Own VM strategy, seasonal concepts, planograms, and in-store storytelling to drive consistency and impact.
Execution & Audits : Lead VM readiness for launches and campaigns; run audit programs to track compliance and excellence.
Team & Vendors : Build a strong central + regional team, manage vendor ecosystem, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Cross-functional Leadership : Collaborate with Marketing, Projects, Property, and Category teams to align experience with business goals.
Ideal Profile
Background in store design / VM with a strong portfolio in large-format or experience-led retail
Experience in home / furniture is a plus; open to lifestyle / fashion or other customer-centric categories
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator
Commercially minded; can link design decisions to KPIs like conversion, ATV, and NPS
