As a Software Engineering Manager for the SaaS platform admin and Partner Ecosystem area you will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers to build and scale core platform capabilities that empower administrators to manage configure and optimize the product for their organizations. This role requires a blend of strategic vision technical expertise and leadership skills to deliver exceptional platform administration tools that enable seamless onboarding robust customer journey orchestration and enabling successful partner enablement.
You will own critical areas of the product that support user and role management platform customization data insights automation and governance. Your work will directly impact the success of administrators managing our platform and drive customer satisfaction adoption and retention.
Responsibilities
Technical leadership :
- Hands-on leader - Lead the design development and delivery of scalable reliable and performant administrative services and tools.
- Champion engineering excellence by promoting best practices in architecture code quality and automation.
- Ensure the team builds robust APIs and integration points for seamless ecosystem connectivity and extensibility.
- Define and execute the roadmap for platform administration capabilities ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management Design and Customer Success teams to understand administrator pain points and develop solutions.
Team Leadership
Mentor inspire and grow a high-performing team of engineers to achieve ambitious goals.Recruit top engineering talent and help scale the team to meet evolving business needs.Operational Excellence
Implement robust monitoring alerting and troubleshooting tools for platform administration services.Ensure adherence to governance compliance and security standards (e.g. GDPR CCPA).Basic Qualifications
10-14 years of hands-on experience in Java Kafka full-stack development and distributed architectures leading engineering teams to build scalable resilient SaaS platforms.
Proven expertise in Java Spring Boot and backend service development for distributed systems.Strong experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming.Core Cloud (AWS / GCP) platform expertise.Proficiency in modern front-end development using React and TypeScript .In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases cloud platforms and DevOps practices.Leadership skills in managing and scaling high-performing engineering teams with Agile methodologies.Experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures with focus on scalability and resilience.Preferred skills
UCaaS / CCaaS domain knowledgePrior experience in designing coding and implementing web applicationsAbility to swiftly develop prototypes and minimum viable products for full-stack projectsAptitude for learning and adapting to innovative technologiesStrong team player and individual contributorAdept at debugging and quick problem-solvingAdditional Qualities to have
