About the job : Job Overview :

  • We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Officer to join our team in the Personal Care FMCG sector.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers.
  • You will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share for our personal care products in the designated region.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Target Achievement : Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
  • Market Penetration : Drive distribution and availability of the company's personal care products in retail outlets, supermarkets, and pharmacies.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Promotions and Campaigns : Implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase product visibility and sales.
  • Market Intelligence : Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and threats.
  • Product Knowledge : Stay updated on the features, benefits, and selling points of the company's personal care products.
  • Sales Reporting : Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including performance analysis, stock levels, and customer feedback.
  • Inventory Management : Ensure optimal stock levels at retail outlets and prevent stockouts.
  • Training & Development : Train and guide retail sales teams on the product portfolio, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
  • Customer Service : Address customer queries and concerns effectively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Key Skills and Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience : Minimum 4 years of sales experience in FMCG, preferably in personal care or beauty products.
  • Sales Acumen : Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relationship Building : Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and distributors.
  • Negotiation Skills : Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Problem-Solving : Ability to think on your feet and handle customer complaints or issues effectively.
  • Travel : Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Industry Knowledge : Experience in the personal care or beauty industry is an added advantage.
  • Tech Savvy : Comfortable using CRM systems, MS Office, and other sales-related software tools.
