As a Reference Data Manager within our team, you will be responsible for the operational management and control of the daily workflow. You will lead a team of 8 to 10 staff, ensuring effective resource planning and robust team structure through training and succession planning. You will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic development and manage risks, controls, and governance in the process. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your operational expertise, people management skills, and strategic thinking in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Manage operational workflow and control daily processes.
2. Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning.
3. Ensure robust team structure via training and succession planning.
4. Complete and sign off on all daily controls and processing.
5. Provide direction and leadership to the team.
6. Communicate effectively with the department about strategic and regulatory changes.
7. Review and update Standard Operating Procedures in line with new policies.
8. Contribute to strategic development initiatives.
9. Manage a team size of 8 to 10 staff.
10. Regularly review risks, controls, and governance in processes.
11. Ensure satisfactory audit outcomes.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
1. Demonstrate operational subject matter expertise.
2. Exhibit strong people management skills to lead and motivate managers.
3. Learn and adapt to an ongoing stream of new products and processes.
4. Maintain strong risk and control awareness, prioritizing workloads and meeting critical deadlines.
5. Communicate confidently in all mediums with both internal and external clients.
6. You must have 5 + years of expertise
7. You must hold a Bachelor's degree or above
8. Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
9. Leverage proficiency with Citizen Developer tools (Alteryx, UI Path, Pega low code), SQL query, or Python.
