Job Summary :
As a Senior Workday Technical Consultant, you will leverage your extensive experience (at least 7 years in IT with 5 years specifically in Workday) to lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday solutions.
You will be the bridge between client needs and technical execution, utilizing your proficiency in Workday's core modules and integration technologies. Your role will involve deep client engagement, from initial requirements gathering to recommending and implementing robust solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Development : Design, develop, and implement comprehensive Workday solutions across various modules, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, and Advanced Compensation.Requirements Analysis : Conduct effective working sessions with clients to thoroughly gather, understand, and analyze complex business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable technical specifications.Consulting & Recommendations : Assess actual client needs and propose strategic recommendations, alternative solutions, and best practices to meet and exceed client goals. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience.System Enhancement & Implementation : Lead the implementation of system enhancements and new functionalities, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with client business processes.Workday Integration : Proficiently utilize Workday technologies such as XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, Web Services, and other relevant integration technologies to build and maintain robust integrations.Technical Advisory : Advise clients on Workday capabilities, limitations, and optimal utilization to drive maximum value from their investment.Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for Workday technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance.Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Required Qualifications :
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the IT industry.At least 5 years of dedicated experience in Workday solution design and development.Proven exposure to and hands-on experience with multiple Workday modules, including but not limited to HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, and Advanced Compensation.Demonstrated experience in conducting effective working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.Ability to assess client needs, propose recommendations, and advise on best practices and process improvements.Proficient in Workday integration technologies such as XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, Web Services, and other relevant integration tools.Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Personal Attributes : Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with a strong passion for delivering high-quality Workday solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
