Data Governance Analyst

Hiring for " Data governance Analys t" in a leading bank.

Location : Kolkata

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Plan & communicate with business stakeholders and elicit metadata from data stewards & analysts
• Promote a culture of Data Literacy within the Bank thus assisting in data monetization
• Ensure efficiency of toll-gate process to ensure data across its lifecycle is well managed
• Single point of contact to ensure all dimensions of data management including platform governance, data quality, metadata can be discussed and enforced in business divisions.
• Execute standard on boarding of technical and business metadata into custom / Product environments, ensuring the population of data lineage and linkage between the technical and business metadata.
• Develop & Maintain inventory of the enterprise data. Facilitate the development and implementation of Data Protection, Data quality standards across the enterprise.
• Perform data load and mappings from source systems as the scope of quality information increase across the enterprise
• Participate in the development and implementation of enterprise data Governance standards while assessing, monitoring and directing data management division
• Participate in training sessions for business and technology partners covering enterprise metadata standards, guidelines, and processes
• Participate in product evaluations and POCs for data governance initiatives
• Facilitate discussion with data stakeholders on data governance processes, and translate those requirements into workflows.
• Participate in Metadata Management scrum team to partner in work efforts, provide data management experience, including an understanding of concepts, practices, procedures, and tools providing strong analytical, innovative and creative problem-solving
