Job Title : Chip Design Front End (RTL / System Architecture)
Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chip Design Front End (RTL / System Architecture) professional to join our team as a Chip Design Engineer focused on Front-End development, with a strong emphasis on RTL design and system architecture. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in ARM-based MCU product development and demonstrate a deep understanding of both system-level design and RTL implementation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the entire design cycle, from architectural planning to post-production support.
Key Responsibilities :
System Architecture Development :
- Define and develop microcontroller-based system architectures, primarily based on ARM cores.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable architectural solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance on performance optimization and power efficiency.
RTL Design and Integration :
Design and implement Register Transfer Level (RTL) modules using hardware description languages such as Verilog or SystemVerilog.Ensure successful integration of RTL components within larger SoC environments.Collaborate closely with backend teams to support timing closure and synthesis.Debugging and Logic Design :
Use advanced debugging techniques and simulation tools to identify and resolve logic issues.Participate in design reviews and provide expertise on design optimization, area reduction, and performance tuning.Verification Leadership :
Provide hands-on leadership for verification teams throughout the verification lifecycle.Oversee the development and maintenance of verification environments.Ensure thorough static and dynamic verification processes.Manage test plans, coverage metrics, and regression analysis.Handle UPF (Unified Power Format), GLN (Gate Level Netlist), and test mode-related requirements effectively.EDA Tools Expertise :
Utilize industry-standard EDA tools for design and verification, with a preference for Synopsys platforms.Perform LINT checks, Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) analysis, and SDC (Synopsys Design Constraints) validation.Conduct power analysis and contribute to power-aware design strategies.Product Lifecycle Support :
Provide ongoing support through the pre-production and post-production phases.Address production issues, manage engineering change requests, and contribute to RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) resolution.Ensure successful product deployment and customer satisfaction through detailed documentation and cross-team Skills and Qualifications :Minimum of 8 years of experience in ARM-based MCU architecture and RTL design.Proven expertise in logic design, debugging, and integration.Leadership experience in verification, including test management and environment development.Strong familiarity with EDA tools used in LINT, CDC, SDC validation, and power analysis.Experience supporting the full silicon lifecycle, including RMA processes.Preferred Tools :
Synopsys tool suite for design and verification. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for developing high-performance, low-power embedded systems. If you are a results-driven engineer with a solid foundation in chip design and a track record of successful product development, we encourage you to apply.
