We're Hiring : NPD Project Engineer - Toy Plastic Manufacturing

Location : Mumbai

Employment Type : Full-Time

Pramara Promotions Ltd is a leader in the toy plastic manufacturing industry, delivering innovative, high-quality products worldwide. We're looking for a proactive NPD Project Engineer to join our team and lead new product development projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage new product development projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget

Track project progress and proactively resolve any issues

Oversee the entire project lifecycle : initiation, planning, execution, and closure

Conduct preliminary costing and prepare proposals based on client samples

Analyze monthly sales performance vs. targets and support commercial strategies

Manage RFQ processes and cost estimations

Lead operations teams and solve daily production challenges

Drive new product and tooling development

Lead cross-functional teams (CFTs) to achieve business objectives

Manage new client development from initial inquiry to production start-up

Oversee factory operations to ensure optimal efficiency and quality

What We're Looking For :

bachelor's degree in mechanical, Plastics, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in NPD, ideally in toy plastic or plastics manufacturing

Strong understanding of plastic moulding processes, tooling, and production techniques

Experience in preliminary costing and client proposals

Solid knowledge of production processes, plastic materials, machinery, and printing processes

Skilled in product costing, BOM preparation, and budgeting

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Experience in client engagement and business development is a plus
