WEQ Technologies - Quality Assurance Engineer - Functional / Regression Testing

Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure quality standards are met.
• Design and implement automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance automated test suites.
• Contribute to the development of test automation strategies.
• Analyze software requirements and specifications to ensure testability.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements.
• Provide feedback on design and functionality.
• Use defect tracking tools to report and manage defects.
• Prioritize and escalate critical issues.
• Work with developers to resolve defects and ensure timely releases.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and defect status.
• Generate and analyze test metrics.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Participate in Agile / Scrum :
• Experience : 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience developing and executing test cases.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related Qualifications :
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with mobile testing (iOS, Android).
• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines
