We are inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Supply Planning
The purpose of this work package is to provide Material Planning support for an Aviation major – DRP Materials Planning Group
DRP Supply Planners will manage list of parts assigned to them within their Center of Excellence code. They will be responsible to support all aspects of planning functions such as monitoring requisitions to ensure placement by Sourcing, communicate and react to DRP schedule changes for their respective parts. Team member will need to ensure alignment of supply schedules to demand within Oracle APS.
Responsibilities
Process requires the Planner to work with Sourcing Buyer / DRP Planners across multiple Partner Programs to complete the following tasks :
- Reviewing Exception messages for assigned parts and improve to maintain optimum inventory levels meeting the CSL
- Understanding Forecasting, MPS and order management processes
- Releasing the planned demand to requisition stage
- MTO / Dual deplete process
- Overlap management for onboarding the new supplier
- Workflow process by negotiating with upstream and downstream on material allocation
- Inventory optimization through push out process
- Supply schedule alignment as per S&OP cycle changes
- Late supply pull in’s based on Forecast and Sales order demand
- Cancellation of material not required for the supply chain
- E-mail queries from Forecasting, Master Scheduling, Sourcing and Fulfillment teams
- Effective collaboration with sourcing team for schedule alignments
- Order policy MOQ, Fixed days of supply, Fixed order quantity
- Reports and dashboard creation
- ERP knowledge and Analytical skill
- Strong Excel base skills
- Actions will be completed with daily use of available tools & IT Systems such as Impact (Sourcing), Advance Planning System (APS), PAB (Projected Available Balance Report) and Critical Material report in addition to others available reports to planners.
- Candidate should be comfortable with US (Night) shift timings.
