About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Analyst on a 12-month contract to support the development of a new internal reporting and analytics platform built on Power BI . This role is key to ensuring the business needs across production, quality, operations, and finance are clearly understood, documented, and translated into actionable data and reporting requirements. You’ll act as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring reporting solutions are aligned with real operational needs in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across the business to gather, analyze, and document reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for Power BI reports and dashboards
• Collaborate with data engineers, Power BI developers, and project leads to ensure alignment of business goals and technical delivery
• Support data mapping , source system analysis, and validation of reporting outputs
• Facilitate workshops, process walkthroughs, and feedback sessions with business users
• Help define KPIs, success metrics, and data definitions in coordination with business owners
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and user onboarding for new reports and dashboards
• Track progress, risks, and changes in scope across workstreams related to reporting and analytics
