Role Summary
Location : Remote
Engagement : Full-Time
The selected Business Consultant will be the primary interface between our US Real Estate client and our internal development teams. This pivotal role involves deeply understanding client requirements , translating complex needs into structured Scope of Work (SOW) documentation , and ensuring the final AI product solution aligns perfectly with the client's business goals. The consultant will use their expertise to facilitate smooth project flow, acting as the key handover point for both initial requirements (to the team lead) and final delivery (to the client).
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The Business Consultant will be responsible for the following core activities :
- Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering :
- Conduct in-depth discussions and workshops with the US Real Estate client to clearly define business objectives, pain points, and functional requirements for the AI product.
- Act as the subject matter expert on the client's business processes and industry needs.
- Documentation & Scope Definition :
- Draft and finalize client requirements into comprehensive, structured notes, ultimately shaping the ready client requirements in the Scope of Work (SOW) document.
- Ensure all requirements are detailed, measurable, and aligned with the technical capabilities of an AI-first, cloud-native solution utilizing frameworks like n8n for data extraction workflows.
- Internal Handover & Collaboration :
- Serve as the handover point by presenting the finalized SOW and detailed client requirements to the Team Lead .
- Work closely with the development team and Team Lead to clarify requirements, answer project-related questions, and manage scope creep throughout the development lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance & Client Delivery :
- Receive the final, developed work from the Team Lead and development team.
- Review and validate the final solution against the documented SOW to ensure quality and compliance.
- Present and deliver the final output and solution to the client, ensuring a successful handover and sign-off.
- Project Strategy :
- Provide strategic guidance on how AI and n8n-based workflows can best solve the client's real estate data extraction and processing challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business acumen, technical understanding, and stakeholder management skills :
Experience & Education :Proven experience as a Business Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar client-facing role, preferably in the technology or product engineering sector.Experience working with US-based clients, ideally within the Real Estate or property-tech industry.Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Core Skills :Exceptional ability to translate ambiguous client needs into clear, actionable, and structured requirements / SOW documentation .Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication (written and verbal) for interacting with both technical teams and non-technical business leaders.Technical Familiarity (Must-Have) :Familiarity with workflow automation and data extraction tools , specifically with the n8n framework , or similar platforms (e.g., Zapier, Pipedream) in a professional context.Working knowledge of the AI / ML project lifecycle and how intelligent solutions (especially data-focused ones) are developed and integrated.Basic understanding of cloud platforms and API integrations is a plus.
