About the Role

As the Country Lead - India, reporting to the APAC Director, you will be responsible for driving Mixpanel's growth and revenue in the Indian market. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and prospects, and serve as Mixpanel's ambassador in India.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of Account Executives & Account Managers
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the Indian market.
  • Achieving and exceeding overall revenue targets for India, including new business, renewals, and upsells.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in the region, fostering growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivating and managing strategic partnerships to expand Mixpanel's reach and market presence.
  • Identifying and onboarding new partners, enabling them to effectively promote and sell Mixpanel.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to tailor messaging and campaigns for the Indian market.
  • Proactively prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Accurately forecasting sales and maintaining up-to-date records in Salesforce.

About the Ideal Candidate

You are a self-starter and a builder, passionate about creating and driving growth. You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a dynamic environment. You have a deep understanding of the Indian market and the ability to develop and execute effective GTM strategies. You are passionate about product analytics and its ability to drive business value. You have a strong network within the Indian business and startup ecosystem, ideally with experience in analytics or SaaS solutions. You are a skilled communicator and presenter, capable of delivering compelling product demonstrations and presentations. You are a highly motivated and results-oriented leader, committed to building Mixpanel's presence in India. You have a proven track record of achieving sales quotas and driving revenue growth within the Indian market.

Organizational Support Structure

  • You will report directly to the APAC Director.
  • You will collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Services, Marketing, and Inside Sales teams.
  • You will leverage the existing partner ecosystem to build a strong local support structure within India.
  • We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or related roles within the Indian market.
  • Strong background in Product Management, Analytics, or SaaS.
  • Extensive experience working within the Indian market.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing multichannel GTM strategies for the Indian market.
  • Experience in both account management and new business acquisition within India.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to conduct product demonstrations.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and senior management within Indian companies.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets within the Indian market.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian business culture.
