Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly accomplished Deputy Vice President / Vice President – Sales & Growth to lead and drive revenue performance across the Southern and Eastern regions of India , overseeing the complete portfolio of Air and Non-Air travel services . This is a strategic leadership role accountable for achieving aggressive growth targets, managing key partnerships, and building a scalable, high-performance regional sales organization.

The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in B2B travel space, an established track record in sales, and the ability to orchestrate cross-functional execution at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Team Leadership : Oversee Regional Managers (RMs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs) across Southern and Eastern India .
  • Business Development : Drive new strategic partnerships with industry players and onboard new travel agents to expand our network.
  • Sales Strategy : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the region.
  • Performance Management : Conduct regular reviews and performance assessments with RMs and KAMs.
  • Data Analysis : Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Relationship Management : Foster and maintain strong relationships with key travel agents.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with senior leadership and other function heads (including air, hotels and holidays) to align regional goals with company objectives.
  • Credit Ownership : Serve as the custodian of credit extended to travel agent partners in the region. Ensure timely collections and maintain overall credit health and discipline in the market.
  • Leadership Presence : Represent the company in industry events and forums, driving brand visibility.

Candidate Requirements

  • 15–20 years of progressive experience in the B2B travel industry, including leadership across both Air and Non-Air segments.
  • Strong negotiation, and revenue management capabilities with enterprise and strategic partners.
  • Ability to shape customer-centric strategies and drive both retention and acquisition of agents.
  • Experience with travel technology platforms, digital distribution models, and automation in sales processes is a must.
  • Visionary mindset with hands-on ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the North and West regions as per business requirements.
