Role
The Science Teacher will nurture curiosity and a love for learning among boys in Grades 3–5. The role focuses on building a strong foundation in basic scientific concepts through engaging lessons, hands-on experiments, and everyday examples. In a residential setting, the teacher also plays a vital role in guiding students beyond academics, encouraging discipline, teamwork, and respect for the natural world.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery
- Teach CBSE science syllabus for Grades 3–6 in a clear, age-appropriate manner.
- Use simple experiments, demonstrations, and real-life examples to make science relatable.
- Engaging Teaching Methods
- Encourage inquiry and curiosity through interactive lessons.
- Use project-based and activity-based learning to make science fun.
- Integrate technology, visuals, and storytelling to enhance understanding.
- Classroom & Lab Management
- Maintain science materials and ensure safe use of equipment.
- Follow safety rules during experiments and activities.
- Student Progress
- Regularly assess students through classwork, projects, and tests.
- Provide constructive feedback and support individual learning needs.
- Keep records of student performance and growth.
- Collaboration & Co-Curriculars
- Work with other teachers to connect science with math, language, and social studies.
- Organize and encourage participation in science fairs, clubs, and competitions.

Desired Profile
Graduate / Postgraduate in Science with B.Ed (preferred).Experience teaching CBSE curriculum at primary / middle school level.Passion for working with young learners in a residential school environment.Strong communication skills, patience, and ability to inspire curiosity.
