Job Description – Teradata Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and optimize Teradata solutions to support data warehousing and analytical needs.
• Utilize Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, Fast Load, MultiLoad, FastExport and TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Develop complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to meet business requirements.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and ensure data accuracy across Teradata environments.
• Optimize Teradata queries for performance and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data loads and resolve issues related to ETL processes.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for data integration and management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers as needed.
