Position : - Sales Engineer (Inside Sales)

Location : - Nariman Point, Mumbai

Qualification : - B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering

Experience : - 3 + years in Cables, Wires, Engineering Product industries

Salary : - Up to 9.00 LPA

Responsibilities : -

  • Offer and Quotation Management : -
  • Prepare accurate, competitive, and technically sound quotations for both domestic and international markets.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and design teams to gather inputs for cost estimation and timelines.
  • Maintain a strong follow-up mechanism to track the status of quotations and convert them into orders.
  • Customer Engagement and Feedback : -
  • Monitor client satisfaction by maintaining regular contact, resolving queries, and providing post-sales support.
  • Address feedback proactively and collaborate with internal teams for resolution and service improvement.
  • Maintain a customer-first approach, ensuring timely and effective communication across all touchpoints.
  • Sales Data Management and Reporting : -
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, enquiries, leads, quotations, and order conversions in CRM or Excel.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales performance reports, MIS, and dashboards for management reviews.
  • Analyze trends and key metrics to support decision-making and future strategy planning.
  • Marketing & Business Development Support : -
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, product brochures, and email campaigns.
  • Contribute to brand building and visibility enhancement activities across platforms with the Marketing team.
  • Lead Generation and Market Expansion : -
  • Identify, qualify, and engage potential clients in both existing and new geographies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential industries for product application.
  • Cross-functional Coordination : -
  • Coordinate with technical, R&D, and operations teams to provide clients with customized solutions.
  • Ensure all client requirements are technically validated and feasible before offer submission.
  • Participate in client meetings, product presentations, and negotiations where required.

Required Skills : -

  • Strong understanding of cable / wire products, technical specifications, and customer applications.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP systems, and CRM platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
